Addressing a lively crowd of party sympathizers and community leaders in Washington DC-USA, Judith Yah Sunday delivered a message of peace, unity, and continued faith in President Paul Biya’s vision for Cameroon.

“The Head of State is lending a hand. So the message that we have for the diaspora here in the US is that there is no need for violence,” she said, emphasizing reconciliation and constructive political engagement among Cameroonians abroad.

The event, held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, brought together party militants, supporters, dignitaries among them, Cameroon’s Ambassador to the United States, H.E. Henri Etoundi Essomba.

The rally’s main objective was to mobilize and canvas votes for incumbent President Paul Biya, who is seeking another term in office. Judith Yah Sunday, acting as the President’s envoy, outlined key aspects of the CPDM campaign agenda

“Together with CPDM: One Destiny-For Peace and Development” is the nucleus of the campaign message Yah Judith brought.

The gathering was not only political but also cultural. The event featured traditional Cameroonian music and dance, creating a vibrant and nostalgic atmosphere that celebrated national identity and unity in diversity.

Beyond her professional responsibilities as General Manager of Cameroon Telecommunications (CAMTEL), Judith Yah Sunday has emerged as one of the most influential female figures in Cameroon’s political and corporate spheres. As a member of the CPDM Central Committee, she has consistently championed modernization, digital inclusion, and also stands strong in social mobilization, making her a fitting choice to lead the party’s mission in the United States.

The Washington D.C. rally marks the beginning of a broader mobilization effort by the CPDM across North America. The delegation, led by Judith Yah Sunday, is expected to hold a series of town hall meetings and community engagements with Cameroonians in various parts of America to present the party’s program and foster constructive dialogue with the diaspora.
